When the first snowstorm of the season arrives the night before your annual holiday cheer party, you have plenty of time to whip up whole food plant-based nibbles. I guess you could say this is a double-win for me. My friends could see what types of things I eat and snack on. And I have enough leftovers to not worry about finding time to cook and prep this week and instead focus on all the commitments that come this time of year.
I typically have one or two more filling item; this year those were the chili and Smoky Little Devils. The rest came together easily as they are often go-to’s of mine.

Crudité plate - Lots of my favorite veggies to dip in Garlic Hummus and Horseradish Hummus

Black, Lentil and Quinoa Chili – Hearty and delicious!
Salsa, Guacamole, and Black Bean Mango Salad
Never let a special occasion throw you off your healthy eating track. If you’re headed to a family member or friends house, just offer to bring things you can eat. They will appreciate your contribution to the menu and feel relieved from worrying about what to feed you. Another win-win!
